Overseas Authorised Recruitment Agents & Representatives
This notice serves to create awareness for our various stakeholders on how TEG International College manages and monitors its external recruitment agents to ensure that the agents continue to deliver quality services and do not engage in any misrepresentation and unethical practices.
Evaluation Criteria
Prospective external recruitment agents have to first complete the Agent Application Form for evaluation.
The Agent Application Form for recruitment of agents includes:
- Prior track records (competent)
- Previous job references (reputable)
- Request for documents such as Business Registration Certificates
- Authorisation by respective government to do recruitment or links to local authorities;
TEG International College website includes a list of approved external recruitment agents which has details of the countries in which the agents recruit students and/or perform marketing roles and expiry date of their contract.
Management of Agents
TEG International College ensures that our agents protect the interests and reputation of our institute by not engaging in any misleading and unethical practices in the process of recruiting students.
These criteria is found in the Agent Contract and also a detailed Agent Handbook is given to every authorised external recruitment agents to mitigate the risk of misrepresentation and unethical advisory is given to prospective students.
Monitoring of Agents
External recruitment agents are not allowed to collect any money form the students under any circumstances, payment is made directly to TEG International College escrow account.
Any external recruitment agents found to have violated any of the contract rules & regulations will have their contract terminated.
*All previously signed Agent contract will ceased to be valid - 11th July 2010.

Application Procedures to be TEG International College’s Student Recruitment Agent
1. Fill in TEG Student Recruitment Agent Application Form. Click here
2. Submit a copy of the organization’s Registry of Company letter with Director’s passport particular.
3. Official Letter from the organization stating the particular of the person representing the organization.
4. Official Agent Representative’s particulars – Passport, NRIC, Official ID etc.
5. Agent/Agent’s Representative to attend an Agent Training Induction/Briefing by TEG, attendance will be documented with agent’s pack given to the participants.
6. TEG Agent Contract will then be issued and Agent/Agent’s Representative to sign/stamp all original contract.
7. Both TEG and Agent/Agent’s Representative will be presented a copy of the signed and stamped Agent Contract.
